Details

    Description

      Purpose: Define process to keep data in sync seamless when exchanged and shared by two or multiple apps, when the synchronization is only partial record updates.

      NOTE: This ticket complements FOLIO-1331.

      This area is highly relevant for interaction between, e.g.:

      • exchange of data/updates between Inventory and MARCcat, e.g.
        • bibliographic records created and maintained in MARCcat, and pushed through SRS to Inventory (updates will flow from SRS to Inventory, not directly from MARCcat to Inventory. SRS will receive changes from Data Import (automated) or MARCcat (manual).)
        • holdings records maintained as MFHD - MARC 21 Format for Holdings Data in MARCcat, and pushed through SRS to Inventory
      • exchange of data/update from the Order and Receive app pushed to Inventory
