Performance Issue: Slowness in loading agreements list - Kiwi

After upgrading sites from Juniper(mod-agreements-4.1.1) to Kiwi(mod-agreements-5.0.6), we observe slowness in loading list of Agreements. 

Steps to reproduce: 

1. Go to bugfest-kiwi and click on Agreements app - This call https://okapi-bugfest-kiwi.folio.ebsco.com/erm/sas?filters=agreementStatus.value%3D%3Dactive%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Ddraft%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Din_negotiation%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Drequested&perPage=100&sort=name%3Basc&stats=true takes > 20s
2. The same call on bugfest-juniper takes 1468ms - https://okapi-bugfest-juniper.folio.ebsco.com/erm/sas?filters=agreementStatus.value%3D%3Dactive%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Ddraft%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Din_negotiation%7C%7CagreementStatus.value%3D%3Drequested&perPage=100&sort=name%3Basc&stats=true
3. Please note that increasing memory/CPU did not help in this case and we see extreme slowness in other sites that we host - sometimes the same call takes about 1.5mins in Kiwi and the same call in Juniper takes 877ms
