If fields in FOLIO with imported LAS:eR information are changed manually in FOLIO, they need to be write-protected in further updates.
This story describes the implementation for Subscription/Agreements synchronization.
- For several reasons, information in LAS:eR could be slightly different from information stored in FOLIO. One reason can be that the LAS:eR data of a consortial license is entered by the consortium leader and can not be changed by the library within LAS:eR. Still, there might be a need to specify information in certain fields or to enhance information in a specific field with further data.
- In those cases, the data should be synchronized from LAS:eR and then changed by a user inside of FOLIO. After this change, the field should not be overwritten again in later synchronization events.
