      Description

      Value for user:
Ability for members of library staff to create new amendments on a license based on an existing amendment (on the same license) will save re-keying of information and make it easy to create amendments which are substantial similar

      Roles and restrictions:

      • Only users who are able to edit Licenses should be able to Duplicate amendments

      Workflow / UI expectations:
      1. A user can choose to Duplicate an amendement from the action menu at the top of the amendment view

      2. After selecting to Duplicate an Amendment the user is prompted with which aspects of the Amendment they wish to copy into the Duplicate amendment. The list of options should be the same as for duplicating a license:

      • Amendment information
      • Amendment date information
      • Internal Contacts
      • Organizations
      • Core documents
      • Terms
      • Supplementary documents

The UI should follow the pattern already established for Duplicate license action

      4. After confirming their selections, a new amendment will be created, linked to the same license, and opened in edit view with the appropriate copied information in place

      Business rules & constraints:
      As for duplicating licenses
