Removing content of "Local platform code" and saving should result in empty platform code

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Edit a platform record via the UI
2. Enter a local platform code
3. Save
4. Edit the platform record again
5. Remove the local platform code
6. Save

Expected Results:
Local Platform Code removed

Actual Results:
Local Platform Code remains the same
